Dogville / Taxi Driver
Two student film posters: two ways to turn a film’s character into a graphic image.

A poster conveys tone before plot.
Two film posters approach the same task differently. Taxi Driver conveys tension through rough texture and hand drawing; Dogville uses distance, silhouette and open space. In each, the title becomes part of the overall image. The pair explores how a graphic language responds to a film’s character.
